Joe Fitzpatrick
Founding Principal
 
Joe Fitzpatrick is one of the three Founding Principals of Mastiff Capital Partners. Mr. Fitzpatrick brings fourteen years of experience to the company in the financial, technology, and real estate industries. He began his career as a financial advisor for Gruntal and Co., where he learned the intricacies of money management and corporate finance. In 1998, Mr. Fitzpatrick was recruited by Merrill Lynch and personally managed over $40 million in investor assets for the company during his tenure.

From January 2001-2002 Joe held senior sales management positions for both Vitessa Corporation and Neogent Inc, personally generating over $30 million in sales to Fortune 500 companies. In 2003 Mr. Fitzpatrick became a partner and co-founder of Mastiff Investment LLC, a residential development company. Joe and his partners successfully completed two residential development projects in Venice, CA in 2003. Joe continues to be active in the development and investment of single family homes throughout Southern California.

In 2004, Joe co-founded Ethan Christopher Financial. In two years at ECF, Joe and his Partners originated and closed in excess of $1 billion worth of financing and equity investment transactions. Mr. Fitzpatrick led the client development program and company expansion throughout California. He also managed the finance and equity placement efforts for the company’s investment endeavors in the commercial real estate market. In addition, Mr. Fitzpatrick was responsible for management of the ECF underwriting team and the packaging/underwriting of all loan submissions to debt and equity sources.

As a Founding Principal of Mastiff Capital Partners, Joe works with his Partners in arranging capital solutions and buildings long term relationships with clients. Mr. Fitzpatrick also heads the MCP underwriting team and handles all lender relations and loan submissions. He is active in business expansion throughout the nation, working with investment firms and individual clients as an advisor for commercial real estate financing. Mr. Fitzpatrick brings a focus on providing debt and equity solutions to real estate holders, pursuing to maximize their real estate value and cash flow.

In 1994 Joe graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Rochester in New York. He is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and graduated from Boston College High School in 1990. He currently resides in Newbury Park, CA with his wife Alexandra and their two sons Keegan (2) and Brady (1).
